We are looking for an Account Director to manage one of our retail clients. Our account handlers are responsible for client relationships, managing the team, building relationships with stakeholders and delivering against budgets and workflows.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record within account handling, have knowledge of industry best-practice and have a strong commercial acumen.
Responsibilities include:
Overall responsibility for managing the account team

As Edit Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the editing & production team. Your tasks will include, encoding, transcoding & creating deliverables for clients & TV broadcast. Hogarth FCP Editors play a central role within the Broadcast department. They combine their many skill sets to produce a single combined result, for example, a master edit for internal use or clocked finished masters for broadcast. These edits can vary from broadcast commercials to internal communication videos, to planning/research mood films as well as online video based advertising banners or virals.
Key Responsibilities:
· General day-to-day editing, basic colour correction, simple motion graphics, and basic sound editing
· Conforming & finishing of broadcast commercials
· Clockings, sound-lays and adding or amending legal copy to masters
· Advising clients on current broadcast compliance and Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre / Clearcast / Ofcom television advertising standards codes and notes of guidance, and ensuring material meets these standards
· Expressing and sharing constructive feedback with all levels of client and agency personnel
· Advising on client specific information such as brand information, logos, fonts and notes of guidance
· Advising producers and post producers with information on post production pipeline to ensure we deliver a professional and accurate quote so that projects are brought in on time and within budgeted parameters
· Advise and manage projects after completion - fulfill any project consolidation that
might be required to successfully archive a whole edit project
Experience & Skills Required:
· possess a full understanding of Final Cut Studio & Final Cut Server
· have extended experience with client attended sessions with a high level of communication skills
· combine both creative skills with technical know how
· support producers with timings and processes to attain a high level of work
· have knowledge of Apple Hardware and Broadcast software systems
· have broadcast industry experience of at least 3 years
· A thorough understanding of video codecs and intermediary process (e.g. EDL, XML, standards conversions etc.) and other post production workflows and services

Background on the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic world of visual effects. Hogarth Nuke Artists play a central role within the busy Broadcast department, using their skills to help produce commercials for broadcast, often under tight deadlines. The artist will be responsible for putting together visual effects shots, working quickly to achieve photorealistic results.
The artist should be able to work effectively alone, tracking and compositing, often complex, shots with no assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Compositing, tracking, product replacement, keying, rotoscoping, secondary colour grading in Nuke, all quickly, accurately and convincingly
Streamlining workflow processes so that projects can be reaccessed and reversioned quickly and effectively
Advise and manage projects after completion - fulfill any project consolidation that might be required to successfully archive the project
Experience & Skills Required:
In order of priority Hogarth editors must have:
At least 3 years experience with Nuke
A strong showreel, with clear information to show what was done, and by whom – demonstrating good experience in tracking, keying, rotoscoping, grading
Be able to communicate English to an intermediate level
A knowledge Photoshop, Illustrator and After FX experience - the artist will often be expected to convert print projects into usable RGB elements
A good understanding of photography and broadcast, and how the interactions of light, lenses and film emulsions go to make up the image
A good understanding of colour space, video codecs and their use in the digital pipeline
Ability to take direction and structure working practice so that design changes can be efficiently made
Display a high attention to detail with a “right first time” mentality and a general "can-do" service attitude
