An award-winning launch for Twitter
Twitter wanted to get marketers and advertisers to understand the behaviors and impact of the audience in the APAC region, and relevance to their brands. They wanted an event that would help to convince marketers and agencies to strategically consider Twitter for future campaigns.
Working with the creative agency, Geometry - Hogarth Singapore’s team put together all aspects of the event that would bring to life the value of 5 passionate communities (Sports, Music, Food, Gaming and Entertainment) on Twitter and how conversations on the social network have the potential to shape culture.
Under the name #Launch2020, the event brought the online world from a range of brands, including Airbnb, Mastercard and Disney, offline by creating an exhibition that depicted interactions in a form of Tweets within its related community.
Overall sentiment towards the event was extremely positive, with an oversubscribed turnout by more than a third. The event also won three awards at Campaign Asia’s Event Marketing Awards in May 2020, including a gold for Best Production and silver awards for Best B2B Brand Experience and Best Creative Idea.
The Director of Marketing for the Asia Pacific region at Twitter, shared that it was the most memorable event she had ever attended in her time at the organisation.
